VACS is the brainchild of Sarah Oliviers, a passionate equestrian and veterinary student herself. Due to her passion for animals and her international background, she very quickly came into contact with veterinarians all over the world. The 2023 FVE study also confirmed her experiences. Veterinarians are looking for a better work-life balance and lower administrative costs. All this in the most customer-friendly and efficient way possible. VACS was born.

Since January 1, 2026, Peppol is mandatory for all B2B transactions in Belgium. For many veterinarians, this is an additional administrative burden that was not clear to everyone. Sarah explained this in a very clear presentation during her webinar on October 9, 2025.
